A roastery with a café around it
We started with a five-kilo roaster in a shed in Loosduinen. Now we roast twice a week in the middle of the shop, and pour everything that comes out of it.

A roaster in the shed
Five kilos at a time, sold to friends and two local restaurants.
- 2017
The first shop
An old bike shop in the Zeeheldenkwartier. Six chairs, one espresso machine.
- 2020
Delivering by bike
When the café had to close, we delivered the beans ourselves. That's where our subscription comes from.
- 2023
A bigger roaster
Fifteen kilos, right in the middle of the café. The kitchen came next, and the terrace.

Four farmers, fixed price
We buy directly from four farming families and agree the price a year in advance.
Groups & catering
A team breakfast, a workshop or a coffee bar at your own event. Tell us what you're after and you'll get a proposal within one working day.

Common questions
Can I pay by card or cash?
Both. We also take Apple Pay and Google Pay, and you can pay with a gift card at the bar.
Is the café wheelchair accessible?
Yes. There's no step at the entrance and the toilet is accessible. The terrace is level.
Can you grind beans for my machine?
Yes, in the shop and online. Tell us which machine you have and we'll set the grinder to suit it.
How fresh are the beans in the shop?
Never more than ten days old. Every bag shows the roast date.
Do you work with regular farmers?
Yes, with four families in Colombia, Ethiopia, Brazil and Guatemala. We agree the price a year in advance.
